Provide the skills and experience for the development of internal web applications to support the mission of the Thunderbird School of Global Management. The candidate should be able to development web applications from the database structures and stored procedures, through the middle ware and to the user interface experience. The position will also work to customize third party systems and migrate and integrate data from disparate systems.
Minimum of a Batchelors degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related area. Two or more years of Internet development experience and five years of relevant technical experience.
Extensive experience providing web development services, developing web pages and interactive web content using HTML and HTML editing tools (e.g. Dreamweaver, Eclipse, etc.), Cascading Style Sheets and Java Script, organizing and overseeing projects, relational database design concepts, principles, practices and methods, security/permission standards, and stored procedure methods and techniques.
Experience with PHP, Drupal, Moodle and Salesforce.com are an advantage.
Ability to read and develop simple correspondence. Translate user requirements in project task and deliverables.
Ability to work in cross-functional teams with internal users, managers, and other developers. Work with outside vendors to provide interfaces to hosted systems and to report and solve system issues.
