Over half of our participants each year "commute" from outside of Switzerland to attend their Executive MBA modules, staying together in local Geneva accommodations, which are convenient to classrooms and to the city's various amenities, and just a short 15-minute commute from the Geneva airport.


Geneva Housing

In the 2012-14 program beginning September 2012, 50% of the module accommodations are inclusive in the tuition--including the opening module in Geneva and each of the modules beyond Geneva (three Field Seminars and two modules on Thunderbird's campus in Arizona).

Remaining accommodations during the other residential modules held in Geneva are excluded. For further details, see the tuition & fees schedule.

Typically, 65% of the program participants commute from outside of Switzerland. For this reason, Thunderbird recommends the following convenient accommodations for commuting participants:

  • The Manotel Group, which offers a suite of hotels in the central district of Geneva, each within a five-minute walk of the others, and only a short walk (1-2 tram stops) to both of the program's teaching facilities. Manotel offers a Thunderbird group rate for accommodation. 
  • The Hotel Mon Repos, conveniently across the street from the Villa Barton campus on rue de Lausanne, also has Thunderbird group rates for accommodation.

Geneva also offers a host of other housing options, including apartment-style rooms for one-week stays. Further details are available from Thunderbird staff and provided to all participants as they enroll in the program.
