Admission Standards & Requirements

To be a viable candidate for Thunderbird's Executive MBA programs you must:

  • Have an undergraduate degree.
  • Have a minimum of eight years full-time work experience since receiving your undergraduate degree.
  • Have spent at least three years in a a middle or senior managerial position.
  • Be intellectually capable of doing graduate-level coursework in an accelerated format.
  • Make a strong personal commitment to the time requirements of the program.
  • Have your company's sponsorship and commitment to the program requirements.

Once your completed application packet is approved, you are interviewed in person by three Thunderbird EMBA Faculty and one Administrator prior to acceptance to ensure that Thunderbird is exactly the right fit for you.
