Events

Thunderbird Private Equity Center typically holds three or four major events each year. For the 2012/13 year we will hold our Southeast Asia Conference on October 10-12 in Ho Chi Mihn City, with our partner in Vietnam, Auxasia Holdings. Additionally, we will hold a one-day forum in Mumbai, India in the fall. Our Annual Conference, held on our Glendale campus, is scheduled for April 10-11, 2013.

New to TPEC's event schedule is our South American Road Show. We are scheduled to take a small group of U.S.-based private equity and venture capital GPs to Chile, Peru and Colombia to meet with Limited Partners in their respective countires. The Orad Show is being held in conjunction with the U.S. Depertment of Commerce.

Forums

Our Forum's objectives are to provide greater exposure of Thunderbird's truly global educational opportunities and overall community specific to the area of private equity, and to encourage greater global thinking in the private equity world. The scheduled forums also provide networking opportunities for T-Birds (alums, current students, faculty) and the greater Thunderbird community who work in private equity. Our goal is to position Thunderbird as the voice of globalization in private equity.
